Holding Hands

We live in a world that is constantly evolving. We are constantly bombarded with events regarding riots, wars, pandemics, vaccines, illness, technology, unemployment, friends, families, etc. Each event adds an additional element of stress to our lives. Dealing with each of these areas requires a person to admit and address how each piece effects him/her and how he/she can overcome his/her effects. Sometimes the external pressures become overwhelming and we seek help or escape to deal with the stresses. Escape can be found in drugs, drinks, food or other unhealthy activities. For those wanting help, there are books, friends, family, religious, or professional support that can provide guidance and assistance.

With technology, we can instantly access help online through podcasts, eBooks, or YouTube videos. We can order self books on Amazon, eBay or Shopify. We can attend seminars or retreats each promising the secret path to our happiness and success. But will they provide the elixir to our dreams? Billions of dollars are spent every year on books, training programs and education in pursuit of fulfillment. The truth is that most books are never ready. Most programs are never completed, and our learnings are never applied. We live in a giant sea of unfulfilled potential. Why is that potential never realized?

The truth is that everyone needs guidance, encouragement and accountability to succeed. Few people have the needed and qualified support system through their family, friends or community. Self improvement is hard. It takes time, effort and encouragement. Doing something new or scary is always better and more likely to happen with a partner or guide. No matter how inspired we are by our dreams, our old patterns and habits will quickly sap our energy and fade our drive unless we have someone there to provide the needed support and guidance to keep us moving forward. We need a qualified partner – A LIFE COACH.
